Shows how good your voice work is!

You know, this is the third time I've tried to write this review. First I was going to give a 6 because it lacked any animation, despite the audio being great, but then I realised if it makes you laugh, it's funny and deserves a high mark regardless of animation. It worked great, and really shows off your vocal talent. Well done!

[The Real Legend 3]

Nice visuals only partly make up for sub-par jokes

It just wasn't funny. The pacing was all wrong, with too many frequent pauses. I'm not saying you should be like egoraptor, throwing the jokes out every second, but you need to speed it up between transitions of scenes.

Also, the Navi voice actor isn't that great - every line sounded too sarcastic all the time. The animation is not the best, but it's damn good - the anime moments kinda ruin it for me as I don't find anime funny at all.

I was hoping to see an improvement over last time, but the same problems remain. With the overwhelmingly popular response, it's likely this review won't change anything, but I'd suggest finding a professional writer (or someone with a bit more experience) to write the dialogue, and then you could tweak the pacing yourself - the animation is already at a good level.

I'm not going to be blinded by the Zelda name on the front - it was an average flash in terms of story, pacing and laughs. Not bad, but not awesome, either. Better luck next time.

Too much of a coincidence.

If it had been done before a year ago, you should have researched before hand and then just done something else - this is virtually identical to the video version, only not as good. Once a joke has been told once, you don't need to say it again or it loses its comic value. Number 1 in the flash page is a joke... it had below average animation and voice work and stole a joke over a year old (either that or you were incredibly lazy when researching other such videos).

Could have been great...

Imo, the anime bits ruined it. It could have been a really cool animation with subtle humour, but it was slightly overboard for my liking - I cringed at most points :/ Still, it was very well animated.

You couldn't even nick the audio properly...

I mean, come on, at least TRY to put some effort into it. I heard the msn sound go off halfway through. You couldn't even be bothered to close that...

Basically, I based it on the animation as the audio isn't yours and you didn't credit it - you can draw stuff quite well but the animation was ropey.

[SSBB Theme Decoded]

Genuis 'decoding', but...

From an animation perspective, it was rather basic and a bit slow. I couldn't help feeling there could have been so much more going on in each scene. Nevertheless, an entertaining (and truthful) flash, so well done :D

[Awesome Compilation Vol 5]

Not my favourite...

It was good, but it just wasn't that funny tbh - same with the last one. The dug one was alright, but you did basically the same thing with mario a while back if I remember. I don't know what to recommend - i'd just say keep trying as the first few movies were great (and metal gear awesome was just pure brilliance) but it's losing it :\

Perhaps some more well-known games, or ones that would be comical - tetris wouldn't be my first choice...

Wow!

Now normally, if you stick the words "Halo", "zelda" or "Mario" onto a video, it'll get 10 stars no matter what. This DESERVES those 10 stars, as it was quick humour, genuinely funny to watch and very well animated. It gets an 8 so far due to the length, but I can't wait to see the final version... Brilliant work :D

One request though... Pleeeeeeeease don't fill it with jokes that are awkward with too much dialogue (I can think of a zelda animation in the top 25 that does this and it isn't very funny to watch)

Severly overrated, but not bad...

I thought it was quite funny and well animated, but at the same time doesn't quite deserve the number one spot in newgrounds as it's very overrated. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great, but it's not the best thing i've EVER seen

[Weird Al's Best]

Pretty dope...

I like this over the other attempts for one reason - it captures the pace of the song brilliantly. The other ones i've seen on albino black sheep are really slow and actually quite boring - where as this, in addition to being well-animated, is fast and frantic. Nice one!
